aftermath.

if we lie
in this chrysalis
a quiet shroud
comprised

the memories
we sifted from
the wreckage

an abstract painting
a solitary man
lost beside
a red and
spiraling path

a single cellist
maybe, one note
becoming
a forgotten
symphony
