faults.






his expression is a parallel
looking far and away
wishing to see what he cannot
wishing he could not see

today the air is unsoiled
autumn approaching
washing away the ash
like you, he looks to the sky
he will feel the disturbance
tectonic plates will shift
beneath the earth

he watches all of them
standing in corners
watching him see
what he should not
